JM aerospace insulation is used in aircraft, shuttles and rockets. Types include flexible blankets, felts and molded high density forms. Custom fabrication is available. Water repellent characteristics prevent the dangerous weight build-up of absorbed water.
There are four Solimide foam grades available from Professional Plastics: TA-301, AC-550, AC-530, and HT-340. All are fire-resistant, lightweight and environmentally friendly with virtually no offgassing/outgassing. They feature a temperature range from -196º C to +300º C.
