Bearings • Angular Contact Bearings

Angular contact bearings are one directional thrust ball bearings that support great thrust loads in one direction and some radial load. Its inner and outer rings have high shoulders for steep contact angles to support high thrust and axial rigidity. They are offered as duplex ball bearings and double row, angular contact ball bearings. Duplex ball bearings support thrust loads in two directions and can be used in tandem for thrust loads in one direction. Double row, angular contact ball bearings are two single angular contact ball bearings. Their thrust capacity is limited in one direction.

NTN America offers single and double row angular contact bearings that vary in O.D, bore, and width dimensions. Single row types range from 10mm to 300mm, 26mm to 420 mm and 7mm to 80mm. Double row angular contact bearings range from 10mm to 100mm, 30mm to 180mm and 14.3mm to 68.3mm.

  • Barden Corp.

Barden Precision Bearings offer radial, single row and super precision angular contact bearings that are either instrument or spindle configurations under ABEC-7 or ABEC-9 specifications. These separable and non-separable, super precision, angular contact bearings are produced in diameters ranging from 3/8" (9.5mm) O.D. up to 15 3/4" (400mm) O.D. and also in a variety of shields, cage design, and calibration options.

  • Hartford Technologies, Inc.

Hartford Technologies designs single and double row angular contact bearings. Single row types carry both axial and radial loads with a 30° contact angle. Double row designs carry high axial loads and moderate radial loads. Inner diameters range from 17mm to 100mm.

  • Impact Bearing

Impact Bearings offers machine tool angular contact spindle bearings in four different series': Ultra Light "1900", Extra Light "100", Light "200" and Medium "300". Non-separable configurations have outer rings with 15° and 25° contact angles. Separable, single row designs have inner rings of 15° contact angle.

  • SKF USA, Inc.

SKF's angular contact ball bearings have raceways in the outer and inner rings that are displaced in the direction of the bearing axis respectively. These products are designed to accommodate simultaneously acting radial and axial loads. Models include four-point contact, single row and double row designs.

  • The Timken Company

The Timken Company manufactures Fafnir single and double row angular contact ball bearings for both radial and axial loading. Single row types have high thrust capacity in only one direction and bore sizes from 10 mm to 150 mm (0.3937 in to 5.9055 in). Double row Conrad designs thrust in both directions with bore sizes from 12 mm to 150 mm (0.4724 in - 5.9055 in).

  • QBC - Quality Bearings

QB&C manufactures angular contact single bearings in a variety of sizes to ABEC 1 specifications. Features include 52100 chrome steel and snap-over cages. Stainless steel is available upon request. Dozens of sizes are available from 1" to 4.5" bore diameters.

  • National Bearings Co.

National manufactures customized, light duty, angular contact bearings varying in diameter and width, shape, type of material, ball compliment, lubrication, shields and surface finishing. Types include multi-function, stamped outer race and plastic angular contact bearing designs. Custom designs to fit any shape and carry any load requirement are available.

  • UBC Bearings

UBC manufactures angular contact ball bearings that meet GB/307.1-94 P4 specifications, dmN: 1.3~1.8x 106 /min high speed performance, and life expectancy greater than 1500h. Types include spindle bearings with 15° and 25° contact angles and ball screw bearings of 60° contact angle.
