  • SKF USA, Inc.

SKF USA Inc. designs and manufactures spherical, radial spherical, maintenance-free radial spherical, angular contact spherical, and thrust type spherical plain bearings. All plain bearings can be used without restriction in the temperature range of -30 to 50C, with diameters ranging from 4mm to 1,000 mm.

  • VNC Bearing, Inc.

VNC manufactures and supplies inch and metric spherical plain radial bearings, and metric-size/maintenance free spherical plain radial bearings. All products are designed for applications where heavy loads are transmitted and misalignment must be accommodated. Depending on type, plain bearings have a basic load rating (dynamic) of 270 lbs to 447,700 lbs.

  • PI Bearing Technologies

PI manufactures self-lubricated and self-lubricated polymer plain bearings. These steel-backed, resin and alloy-coated plain bearings are for dry, boundary, and fully-lubricated applications. Self-lubricated products are used in linkages, pivots, swivels, dry rotation, and oscillation, and feature a temperature range of -200 to 280 C and static load of 21320 psi. Self-lubricated polymer plain bearings are designed for demanding applications.

  • Applied Industrial Technologies

Applied Industrial Technologies distributes angular and radial spherical plain bearings, as well as spherical plain bearing inner and outer rings. Manufacturers include Torrington, RBC, Sealmaster, Spherco, SKF USA, Ina USA Corp., Heim, Emerson, Boston Gear, Altra Industrial Motion, and Alinabal.

  • AST Bearings

AST manufactures spherical plain bearings in metric and inch sizes from 0.5" to 12" (4 mm to 300 mm). Suitable for heavy-duty, off-highway vehicles, agricultural equipment, construction/mining/logging equipment, packaging and textile equipment, and robotics, these products are either maintenance free or require maintenance and lubrication.

  • The Timken Company

Timken manufactures spherical radial plain bearings with or without lip seals, and angular contact spherical thrust plain bearings for static oscillatory applications (including mining and construction). Spherical radial types are available in sizes from 12.7 mm to 600 mm bore, while the angular contact plain bearings are available in metric and inch sizes from 12.7 mm to 600 mm (0.5 inches to 23.622 inches).

  • igus Inc.

igus Inc. manufactures self-lubricating plain bearings that are maintenance-free, lubrication-free, corrosion-resistant, and insensitive to dirt. Other features include high accuracy, high compressive strength, good heat conductivity, very low creeping tendency, and high vibration dampening.

  • Kingsbury, Inc.

Kingsbury Inc. manufactures hydrodynamic plain bearings, including thrust, journal and specialty types. Thrust bearings are used in high speed turbine, generator, compressor, and gear drive applications. Journal plain bearings are available as directed, flooded, and fixed profile types, and are used for power generation, oil and gas, and general industry applications.

  • KML Bearing & Equipment

KML manufactures radial, angular contact, and thrust type spherical plain bearings. Radial designs are available as maintenance or maintenance-free types, and are used for situations where oscillating or slewing or recurrent tilting movements must be permitted.

  • National Precision Bearing

National manufactures plain bearings, including standard duty, self-lubricating, heavy-duty, extended inner race, and angular contact. Various designs are available in metric and inch sizes with outside diameters from 0 to 9 inches or 0mm to 500mm, and in open or sealed configurations. Plain bearings are used in high load and severe misalignment conditions, and in applications that require oscillation, tilting, or other conditions that involve high rotation speeds.

  • RBC Bearings

RBC manufactures radial spherical bearings, including standard, quadlube, high misalignment, tapered bore, and extended inner ring designs. The company also produces angular contact spherical plain bearings. All products are available in metric and inch sizes, and are used in hydraulic cylinder rod ends, heavy equipment articulated joints, vehicle steering linkage suspensions, and other severe duty applications.

  • Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics

Saint-Gobain designs maintenance-free, wear resistant plain bearings for automotive and other industrial applications. These self-lubricated products are also lead free, and are available with either a flexible bearing tape or a metallic backing.

  • TriStar Plastics Corp.

TriStar manufactures Ultrasert spherical plain bearings that can handle temperatures up to 500 degrees, and feature inner diameters ranging from 1.850" to 3.347". These lubrication-free products are used for food and beverage, timber/pulp/paper handling, wastewater and water treatment, and conveyor systems applications.

  • LM-Tarbell

LM-Tarbell designs and manufactures plain bearings, including bronze types used in oil field applications, and others made from a variety of alloys and plastics (sintered bronze, aluminum bronze, Rulon, and Thordon).
