Maryland Metrics are producers of Durbal rod ends initially used in the aircraft industry. Their Certified ISO 9001 products represent the highest quality available. Durbal rod ends come in maintenance-free spherical rod ends (high speed), roller bearing (low and medium speed), and double row ball bearing (high speed) types. On their BEM Series the rod end ball slides on a plastic bearing shell. They also offer BEM Series stainless steel rod ends with high load ability. The BRF series are heavy-duty rod ends with integral double row self aligning ball bearings. The BRTF design is based on a self aligning roller bearing structure and is used for high speeds. There is also an PM Series rod end by Durbal designed for high speeds with high stability.
