Bearings • Thin Section Bearings
Thin section bearings come in three types which include deep groove bearings, four point contact bearings and angular contact bearings. Thin section bearings are used in conditions in which shaft location is key. The four point contact bearings support thrust loads in either direction and resists moment loads more effectively than deep groove bearings. Deep groove bearings and angular contact bearings use an axial split in their outer rings.
