    Leeson are manufacturers of general purpose three phase AC motors in TEFC and ODP enclosures. Both types feature 230/460V ratings nameplated for 208 Volt operation, and most 60Hz models nameplated for 50Hz. Both TEFC and ODP 3 phase motor types also feature up to 400 hp for steel frame, up to 350 hp for cast iron frame, and up to 30 hp for aluminum frame construction with 1200, 1800 or 3600 rpm options.

    Leeson manufactures AC and DC explosion proof electric motors. AC single phase explosion proof motors come in a NEMA 56 frame with 1800 or 3600 RPM and a horsepower range of 1/3 to 2 or 1/2 to 2. Three phase explosion proof motors come in NEMA 56 – 449TS, 56 - 449T, or 56 frames with a horsepower range of 1/3 to 250 or 1/3 to 1/2 hp, and 1200, 1800, or 3600 RPM.
