The backplane module comes with a removable right angle or straight cable plus, and meets ribbon interconnect density.

    Kyocera Elco designs and manufactures back plane connectors including DIN connectors, hard metric connectors, and high density connectors. All the connectors feature plug or receptacle connectors types, with right angle or vertical PCB orientation. Depending on types, the connectors feature rated current of 3A, 1.5A, 1A, 20A, 0.7A, or 7.33A, with 3 to 246 positions.

    Molex manufactures a line of backplane/midplane connectors including high speed connectors, ganged RF connectors, storage connectors, and backplane connector systems. The high speed connectors feature 100 circuits per 25mm, 72 circuits per 25mm, 36 circuits per 25mm, or 30 circuits per 25mm. These connectors are also available with data rates of 12.5, 10, 6.25, 5, 2.5, 1.5, 1 Gbps. The ganged RF connectors are used to connect up to 2.5 GHz single-ended or analog RF signals.

    AbelConn LLC designs and manufactures backplane connectors and systems for military and aerospace applications. The company is one of the few suppliers that builds Mil-A-28870 backplanes and Mil-C-28859 and Mil-C-28754 components. The connectors are available with molded plastic and machined metal bodies.
