    Barksdale, Inc. offers a selection of remote bulb and local mount temperature switches. The line of remote bulb temperature switches include: Series MT1H and T2H with a temperature range from -50° to 600°F; explosion proof Series T1X and T2X with a temperature range from 50° to 600°F; explosion proof and compact T9692X with a temperature range from -40° to 140°F; Series TPR for general applications and heat tracing temperatures from 15° to 140°F; Series THR and THL for industrial applications and heat tracing temperatures from 0° to 300°F; and Series TXR and TXL for hazardous areas and heat tracing temperatures from 0° to 300°F. The line of local mount temperature switches include: explosion proof Series L1X with a temperature range from 50° to 600°F; explosion proof and compact T9692X with a temperature range from -40° to 140°F; Series ML1H and L2H with a temperature range from -50° to 450°F; and bi-metallic series ML1S with operating ranges to 300°F.

Temperature switch TD is a snap disc design temperature switch with a set point range of 150° to 300°F. Temperature switch TM is a bellows design temperature switch with a set point range of 40° to 300°F. Temperature switch HT is a bellows high amp design temperature switch with a set point range of 40° to 300°F.

    CPI (Control Products, Inc.) offers thermal switches such as the SnapStat bimetallic disc thermal switches, PlugStat bimetallic thermal switches, and rod and tube thermal switches. The SnapStat bimetallic disc thermal switches has a temperature range of 0 - 350°F; PlugStat bimetallic thermal switches has a temperature range of 0 - 600°F; and rod and tube thermal switches has a temperature range of 0 - 1750°F.

    LumaSense Technologies offers infrared temperature siwtches to recognize hot objects on the measuring beam without any contact with the hot object. The KTS 218 features a temperature range of 700 to 1500°C, 9 selectable optics, stainless steel housing, LED targeting light for aligning, and switch time only 600 µs. The KTG 218 features a temperature range of 400 to 1400°C, 9 selectable optics, stainless steel housing, LED targeting light for aligning, and switch time only 600 µs. The N 510-N, IN 510, IN 530-N and IN 530 are digital pyrometers that measures the temperatures of coated metallic or non-metallic objects without any contact. They feature an exchangeable sensor head, close focus lens, switchable digital interface, isolated relais contact, and selectable analog output. Only the IN 510 and IN 530 feature an illuminated LC display of the temperature.

  • Madison Co.

    Madison Company offers a line of thermal switches calibrated to customer-defined set point range. Types include bimetal slow make/slow break, rod and tube, snap-action bimetallic disk, and solid state configurations. The set point range is 30°C to 130°C. Features include creep or snap action, low differential between opening/closing temperatures, close on rising available from 30 to 130°C (86 to 266°F), open on rising available from 30 to 125°C (86 to 257°F) and a rated life of 100,000 cycles.

    National Semiconductor offers a line of temperature switches varying in set point types, set point values, temperature accuracies, temperature ranges and quiescent currents.

  • Ashcroft, Inc.

    Ashcroft delivers the GT, LT, PT-N7, T400 and T700 models of temperature switches that all share a setpoint of -40 to 750°F, remote or direct mount bulbs, and stainless steel construction. The GT features a stainless steel enclosure, corrosion resistance, fixed or adjustable deadband, single or dual setpoints, and SPDT or (2) SPDT contacts. The LT is a general purpose temperature switch and features watertight epoxy coated aluminum enclosure, fixed or adjustable deadband, single or dual setpoint, and SPDT or (2) SPDT contacts. The PT-N7 includes all the features of the LT in addition to an explosion proof enclosure and dual chamber design. The T400 is a general purpose temperature switch and features watertight epoxy coated aluminum enclosure, single or dual setpoint, and SPDT or (2) SPDT contacts. The T700 features an explosion proof enclosure, single or dual setpoint, fixed or adjustable deadband, and SPDT or (2) SPDT contacts.
