  • Mclennan

    Mclennan encoders include incremental rotary, absolute rotary, high res rotary, and incremental linear types. Their incremental rotary encoders are available in a range of operating voltages and sizes for industrial environments, with any line count up to 5,000pulses per revolution. Absolute rotary feature 13 bit resolution in single turn versions, up to 25 bit in multi-turn. High resolution rotary encoders are available in exposed and kit forms, up to 7.2m counts/revolution. Mclennan's low profile linear encoder offers 50nM in exposed and standard forms.

  • Click Automation

    Click Automation distributes automation products from companies such as Baldor, Baumer Electric, CMC and Pittman. They carry encoders like Pittman's 35mm ROSE, an incremental, noncontacting rotary to digital feedback encoder which translates real-time shaft angle, speed and direction of rotation into TTL -compatible outputs. Other types include rotary optical incremental encoders for OEM with resolution of 500 ppr.

  • Siemens

    Siemens offers SIMODRIVE sensor incremental encoders with various electrical interfaces, e.g. RS 422 (TTL), HTL or analog signals with 1 VPP, available for the interfaces of the higher-level control. Versions are also available for different operating voltages. Their SIMODRIVE sensor absolute encoders are available with SSI (synchronous serial interface) or EnDat, or PROFIBUS; single-turn and multiturn.

  • Micromo

    MicroMo's incremental shaft encoders are based on the optical or magnetic design principles. To reduce the influence of resonant frequencies, the encoders are mounted directly on the shaft or integrated into the motor itself. MicroMo Electronics encoders include integral magnetic, magnetic, optical and capacitive types. Their frequency range can reach as much as up to 250 kHz, and lines per revolution range from 10 to 2048.

  • Cleveland Motion Controls

    Cleveland Motion Controls offers rotary incremental encoders. Their DataTorque family of encoders have features that include 200 kHz and 500 kHz frequency, servo or face mounting, resolution to 2500 CPR and  5400 CPR, and input voltage from 5 to up to 24 VDC.

  • Bison Gear & Engineering Corp.

    Bison shaft mount encoders feature1 channel or 2, supply voltage of 5, and pulses ranging from 12, 30, to 100 with an approximate weight of two pounds.

  • Allied Motion Technologies Inc.

    Allied Motion encoders are rotary optical encoders available with solid or hollow shaft, and output formats: incremental, sine/cosine, and absolute (single- or multi-turn). Allied Motion specializes in custom design and integration.

  • Harmonic Drive LLC

    Harmonic Drive offers their micro encoder series which are ultra miniature three channel incremental encoders with high resolution. Their measurement is as small as 7.5 mm in diameter, and they provide 360 pulses per revolution (1440 with quadrature) and also provides an index pulse. Single shaft and hollow shaft options are available.

  • Dynapar

    Dynapar offers a wide range of encoders. These include absolute rotary; general-purpose, motor mount, and heavy duty incremental rotary encoders, and harsh-duty optical encoders. Dynapar's harsh-duty optical encoders are designed to operate in severe-duty - food, oil/gas and related heavy-duty industrial applications that will not corrode and can withstand temperature extremes from -40ºC TO +100ºC. Their general purpose encoders are offered with integral shaft size from 1/8” to ½” and housing size ranges from 1 to 2.5 diameter.

  • Sensor Systems, LLC

    Sensor Systems encoders include optical incremental and absolute encoders, contact encoders, low cost industrial with resolutions to 1000 PPR are available in a rugged package, and housed single and multi-turn absolute encoders are available. In kit form their high speed incremental encoders are available 2500 PPR to 400kHz, and in housed form to 1000 PPR and 1mhz is available.

  • Autonics USA

    Autotonics' E20S / E20HB Series are micro size Ø20mm (approx. 35g) incremental rotary encoders. Features include resolution of 100, 200, 320, 360 P/R and available to customize; maximum allowable revolution of 6000rpm; and shaft and hollow shaft built-in types available. Power supply specs. are 5VDC±5% and 12VDC±5%. The E50S-C is Ø 50mm Connector type rotary encoder series.  It features a IP65 Water-proof structure, and power supply specifications at 12-24VDC and 5VDC.

  • RSF Electronics Inc.

    RSF Electronics offers a wide range of enclosed and open linear encoders, and rotary encoders. The enclosed models are best suited for harsh environments, with extra protection (IP 64) available for very harsh environments. They feature resolution from 5 µm to 0,1 µm. The non-contact open encoders have resolution ranging from 10 µm to 0,05 µm.Depending on the version of the measuring system, two different measuring scales are available: glass (partially ROBAX glassceramic) or steel. They offer several rotary encoder series, features of some of these systems include up to 7.200.000 counts per revolution.

  • Photocraft, Inc.

    Photocraft manufactures a full line of incremental and absolute rotary encoders. These include shaft encoders, hollow shaft, programmable and wheeled encoders. Their single-turn, absolute encoders provide up to about 10-bit resolution and are vailable in low cost miniature, modular and industrial configurations. Programmable encoders (available on many models of shaft, hollow shaft and wheeled encoders) allow you to select pulses per revolution, output circuit, and other features at installation time.

  • Turck, Inc.

    Turck offers a complete line of incremental and absolute encoders - shaft/hollowshaft and multi- and single-turn. Features of their Kubler line include temperature and aging compensation, plus improved EMI, vibration and shock resistance.

  • SICK, Inc.

    SICK incremental encoders number of pulses range from 1 to 10000. Their single turn encoders feature resolution from 2 to 32768 steps while multiturn absolute encoders number from 2 to 8,192 steps per revolution. SICK also offers wire draw encoders - absolute (BTF) and incremental (PRF) versions; and linear encoders with maximum length at 1.700m and resolution of 0.1 mm.

  • Electronic Machine Parts (EMP)

    Electronic Machine Parts' encoders feature a dual-bearing design and are shock resistant. They are available with shaft sizes of 3/8" on size 25 and 35 encoders, 1/4" on size 15 encoder, and special sizes upon request. Standard line count is at 1024, with other available line counts from 32 to 1250.

  • Accurate Measurement Systems Co.

    AMS offers HEIDENHAIN sealed linear encoders, and angle encoders. Sealed linear encoders are available with full-size scale housings for high resistance to vibration up to 30 m measuring length, as well as slimline scale housing for limited installation space up to 1240 mm measuring length; with mounting spar up to 2040 mm.

  • Amci

    AMCI's incremental single-turn digital rotary shaft encoder features an IP67 rating with field programmable output resolution; field selectable configurations range from 2 to 4096 counts per turn.

  • Encoder Technology

    Encoder Technology (ET) offers rotary incremental encoders -shaft/hollow shaft/servo motor, and linear incremental encoders, rotary absolute encoders which include programmable and fieldbus interfaced. Their motor encoders include OIH48 a hollow shaft, incremental sine-wave encoder with resolution 1024C/T, 2048 C/T. ET also has micro encoders including sub-miniature up to a range of hollow shaft products of over 100 mm diameter.

  • Eltra

    Eltra's incremental and absolute encoders include the EA120P 13 bit absolute hollow shaft encoder. The EA 120 is suitable for textile machines, elevator motors and generally all the applications where large diameter shaft is required. It is available with SSI and ICO output. Eltra offers a complete range of encoders with resolution up to 10.000 pulses per turn (ppr) with a wide flange choice and several electronic outputs. Options include stainless steel enclosed, explosionproof encoders up to 10,000 ppr with Zero, magnetic technology, potentiometer, hollow and solid shaft.
