Gantry systems are motion control machines that can guide components along multiple axis with tracks that run in multiple directions.

A bridge like scaffolding or framework of steel bars raised on side supports, gantry systems are found in electronic assembly, electronic manufacturing, vision systems, and industrial automation environments. Available with different cross sectional sizes, gantry robot systems typically consist of HPLA and HLE linear drive modules, vertical drive modules, a cable management system, a home position sensor, travel limit sensors, gear reducers, and a servo motor system. These systems are used for a number of applications including: assembly, composite materials layup, composite core handling, material handling, welding, cutting, painting, gel coating, machining, sealant dispensing, palletizing, parts transfer, and storage and retrieval.

  • OEM Dynamics

    OEM Dynamics manufactures multi-axis gantry systems including the L70 series, designed with mounting holes for easy X-Y setup. The "L" shape provides a means to mount to either top or side of the carriage for up to 4 configurations of  X-Y mounting. 3 axis models are also available.
