  • FANUC FA America Corp.

Fanuc FA America offers Alpha i Series standard spindle motors, and Beta i Series asynchronous spindle motors. The asynchronous Alpha i motors are standard spindle motors with continuous outputs from 0.55 kW to 100 kW. Depending on the version, the Alpha i motors provide a high output power at high speeds, or a high output torque at low speeds. Alpha i motors have minimal vibration, and an internal coolant passage. The Beta i Series motors have power outputs ranging from 3.7 kW to 12kW at a maximum speed of 10,000 RPM. In conjunction with High Response Vector control software, these motors will work with maximum efficiency, a minimum heat generation, and can be operated at top speed for a prolonged period.

  • Parker Hannifin Corp.

Parker Hannifin Corp. offers spindle motors in a variety of configurations, including: NV high speed servomotors, HV spindle servomotors, SKW frameless spindle servomotors, HKW electrospindle servomotors, and customized spindle motors. Power ranges are available up to 230 kW, and speed ranges are available up to 50,000 RPM. Applications include: machining centers, lathes, milling, drilling, grinding, etc.

  • Yaskawa Electric America

Yaskawa Electric America offers spindle drives and motors. Product line includes: the M5 spindle drive, single winding spindle motors, and dual winding motors. The M5 is a high performance spindle drive with 100% back-to-line regeneration, it is 350 mm in height, and a vibration of up to 50 Hz. Single winding spindle motors are high speed, low vibration motors that are designed for machine tools, and generate rated a power if 1,500 RPM. Dual winding motors can eliminate gearboxes by generating full rated torque at low speeds, and can generate a rated power of 400~500 RPM.

  • Siemens

Siemens offers high performance induction and main spindle motors. These motors are a preferred choice for industrial applications due to their rugged construction, their absence of brushes, and the ability to control the motor speed. They are compact, have a high-power density, and are maintenance-free. In particular, the 1PH8 high-performance induction and main spindle motors have a maximum speed of up to 20,000 RPM, a maximum rated torque of 12,415 Nm, and a maximum shaft height of 355 mm. Special features include: force-ventilated or water cooled, absolute or incremental encoders, keyed or plain shaft, vertical or horizontal mounting, etc.
