Stainless centrifugal pumps are rotodynamic pumps made from stainless steel, making them suited to a wide range of chemical, laboratory, and processing applications and resistant to corrosive liquids. Driven by a hydraulic motor, these pumps handle a constant supply of fluid entering from the inlet side of the pump; as the impeller rotates, it creates a centrifugal force that pushes fluid around the pump cavity and through the housing to the outlet. Volume of flow is determined by speed, operating pressure, and pump size. Leading manufacturers: Price Pump Company, Sethco, Ampco Pumps, Cole-Parmer, Aaron Equipment Company
