Pumps • Hydraulic Pumps • Hydraulic Air Pumps

Hydraulic air pumps use the positive displacement principle, harnessing the kinetic energy of flowing water or oil to move, compress, and/or pressurize air. Unlike normal piston compression in which a piston rod applies force, these pumps use hydraulic fluids to create force. Models can come single- or double-acting, in one or two speeds, and powered by engines or electric motors. They can be used to pressurize hydraulic stud tensioners or hydraulic nuts or serve as jacks for lifting vehicles; they are also featured in some self-fueling air cars.
