  • GE Energy

GE Energy designs premium and heavy-duty, high pressure, IEC fusible, IEC disconnect, and IEC non-fusible disconnect switches. The premium and heavy-duty switches are 30-600 amperes units, while the high pressure switches feature top or bottom feed and 800-4000 amperes. The fusible switches are designed for use in stand-alone applications, and available in 30A through 200A sizes.  Disconnect switches are available in 5 amperage frames from 25A through 125A; while the non-fusible switches are designed for use in group mounting configurations with other DIN-rail mounted devices.

  • American Electrical, Inc.

American Electrical, Inc. offers SD1 Series and SD2 Series DIN rail mounted disconnect switches. SD2 Series switches have voltages up to 600V, rated currents up to 125A, 5 kA short circuit ratings, and 3.5 N-m tightening torques. Switches come with black or red handles.

  • Eaton Corp.

Eaton Corp. designs and manufactures a line of disconnect switches including solar disconnects, rotary disconnects, air conditioning disconnects, flange mounted disconnects, and elevator shutdown control switches. The solar disconnects are UL 98 listed and suitable for NEC Article 690 photovoltaic applications, while the AC disconnects are used for residential and light commercial air conditioning units, heat pumps, swimming pools, spas, and pump houses. The flange mounted disconnects are rated up to 200,00 rms symmetrical.

  • Schneider Electric

Motor disconnect and interlocked receptacle switches produced by Schneider Electric are available as fusible or non-fusible models, and are UL 98 and UL 508 listed. These switches are used in applications including mining, commercial buildings, manufacturing, industrial buildings, wastewater, healthcare facilities, and educational campuses. The company also designs solar disconnect switches used on direct current and photovoltaic systems. Featuring a 10,000 amperage DC short-circuit rating, the switches are rated for 600 VDC maximum open circuit voltage.

  • Siemens

Seimens' open-style disconnect switches are rated for 600 VAC maximum, and available as compact rotary or visible blade types. The switches are fusible, feature 3 poles, and are either UL508 or UL98 rated. Additionally the switches are available as 25-125A, 30-400A, 30-200A, or 30-600A models.

  • Altech Corp.

Altech Corp. manufactures a line of motor disconnect switches available as stainless steel, fused-enclosed, enclosed, or extended/direct handle types. The 60A switches feature motor starting up to 75HP/600V, a general use rating of 25A to 150A/600V, and 3 to 4 poles. The stainless steel switches are used in food processing plants and breweries, and feature an enclosure that's rated to IP66.

•, Inc Inc. distributes motor disconnect switches and motor disconnect switches with auxiliary contact. The 2-position, three phase switches are rated from 20A up to 100A.

  • Rockford Systems, Inc.

IEC-fused, three-phase disconnect switches designed by Rockford Systems Inc. are housed in a NEMA 12 metal enclosure, and can be used on machines with 208, 230, 460, or 575 V. The company also offers single-phase, 115-V 15A disconnect switches designed for motors with built-in over-loads. Applications include smaller crimping machines, grinders, drill presses, and saws.
