Valves • Ball Valves • Ball Check Valves

Commonly used in mini-pump dispenser spigots, spray devices, refillable dispensing syringes, and manual air pumps; a check ball valve – also referred to as a ball check valve – features a spherical ball that blocks the flow of various liquids, gases, and air by creating a seal against the valves’ rubber seat. In some ball check valves, the ball is spring-loaded. Those valves without a spring require reverse flow to move the ball toward the seat and create a seal. The balls are typically made of metal, but can also be made of other materials or artificial ruby. Ball check valves differ from ball valves, as in ball valves the ball acts as a controllable rotor to stop or direct flow.
